when i try to put a picture in a fourm it doesnt work because the picture is a .shs but that wont work and i dont no how to change it

shs are scrap files...did you copy it out from a word or MS Office document? (or even Word Pad)

Push print screen, paste it into MS paint, and save it as jpeg.
